Set a summer reading time goal and start reading!
Gather financial pledges from friends and family to support you in reaching your reading time goal
Usborne Books & More matches the total contributions at 25% in free books which will be donated to The Gayle Cronin Foundation
The Usborne Books & More Summer Reading Club is a pledge-based program to encourage children to read while also helping others. The goal is to have children develop and reinforce a regular reading habit. The children earn books for their personal enjoyment and experience the satisfaction of sharing books for a good cause. Children read books of their choosing! Children earn a certificate, books, and prizes. Children discover the value of helping a charity/organization.
WOW! What a way to spend time this summer – enjoying reading, learning, and doing a great thing for others. Just think, if you get four relatives or friends to each pledge $25 you will have $100 in pledges and will get to pick out $100 in books to keep for all your hard work, and then also contribute $25 to books for The Gayle Cronin Foundation. The Gayle Cronin Foundation supports families impacted financially by the stress of treating cancer.

Important Dates
*Children with $100 or more in pledge money receive an additional $10 in FREE books.
*Readers who go “Above and Beyond” and read 1000 minutess or more receive an extra $5 in FREE books.
*Superstar Readers who read 1,200 minutes or more receive an extra $10 in FREE books.
